Adrienne Asterita



Adrienne has extensive experience teaching and working with kids in schools, camps, and after school programs, teaching and assisting in various classes and focusing mainly on drama and musical theatre. Most notably she has been working at the Little Red School House (LREI) in NYC since 2000. She also has been working with their Musical Theatre Workshop camp program at Summers at LREI since 2008, becoming the Director in 2011.

In 2013 Adrienne relocated to NJ, and has since been a Teaching Artist at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Premiere Stages at Keane UniversityNew Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), and Porch Light Productions. She works with children of all ages in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Voice, Acting & Improv related classes, as well as Audition Coaching.

Adrienne received a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where along with acting she also studied Directing, Design and Dramaturgy at Playwrights Horizons Theater School. She was fortunate enough to be taught directing by Bob Moss, the founder of the Playwright’s Horizions Off-Broadway Theater and the Theater School.
